Mastic and Paint from Brick and Masonry |
Endur-O-Seal Mastic Remover and Paint Remover
Easy instructions for mastic removal.
- Apply Endur-O-Seal Mastic Remover to the surface and work it into
the mastic with a long handled brush or broom for 2 to 5 minutes.
- Allow to sit for 20 to 60 minutes. You should be able to remove
the mastic with a long handled scraper or squeegee.
- After the mastic is removed Clean the floor with Endur-O-Seal
Degreaser.
Before concrete can be sealed it must be free of all
paint. Endur-O-Seal Paint Remover will remove the paint easily without
the strong odor of most paint stripping compounds. When using this
product on concrete block, you should power wash to remove the paint
instead of scraping.
Easy instructions for removal of paint.

Apply a thick coating (1/8th of an inch) of Endur-O-Seal
Paint Remover to the concrete with a wallpaper brush. Use the
brush to put the product on the surface but do not continue to
brush as you would paint.

Let Endur-O-Seal Paint Remover sit for at least 4
hours (maximum of 24 hours.)

Use a paint scraper to test an area. If the paint
comes off the concrete easily, continue to remove paint. If the
paint is still hard wait a few more hours.

After the paint is removed scrub wall with a deck
brush and water.
